In reading over my Paris bucket list, it occurred to me that the list wasn’t really complete because it only included items I haven’t done before. As such, what follows is my Paris Redux list – those things I simply must do at least one more time before any exit from the city can be considered. (This list is by no means complete and will undoubtedly endure numerous updates over the coming weeks and months.)
- Picnics, picnics, picnics
- Dine at that restaurant with the secret room inside the wardrobe
- Indulge in the best mojitos in Paris with David and Scott at U.F.O.
- Play darts at the divey Irish pub in my neighborhood
- Drink mulled wine on a lazy, grey Sunday (rain optional)
- Participate in a guitar-based sing-a-long at the V of the Seine
- Wander the markets with camera in hand
- Eat one too many rose macaroons from Ladurée
- Drink sweet mint tea in the hidden courtyard at the mosque
- Be better than the circumstances that have surrounded me of late
- Relax in the grass beneath the wall of trees at Jardin du Luxembourg
I LOVE this!
I can see that you and your mother share a terrific writing gene! I love your blog, and have saved your bucket list, because I share your love of Paris.
I will read this afternoon..
