This speech was given during the public forum on House Joint Resolution 6 in the Iowa House of Representatives. FWIW, the resolution passed the House, but it is unlikely to even make it to the floor in the Senate. And if it did, it would have to be passed AGAIN by the House and Senate in 2013 before it went to the voters as a referendum.

Still, a great speech by a man who has more character than all the representatives who voted “Yes” combined.
